The Layton Engineering Building’s state-of-the-art facilities supports students from multiple departments and disciplines, but focuses on technologies related to civic infrastructure and advanced construction materials.
Stippich Design collaborated with the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering on the design, fabrication and installation of the donor recognition package. The donor recognition package includes a feature recognition wall, donor recognition wall and donor recognition plaques.
Stippich Design was provided initial concepts developed by the design team for the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering for the Alan W. Layton feature recognition wall and donor plaques. The design phase focused on refining designs for the Alan W. Layton feature wall and donor recognition plaques to match priorities for scale, materials and messaging and to adapt donor recognition wall design developed by Stippich Design for the Meldrum Innovation Lab to the Layton Engineering Building’s color palette. This was accomplished by Stippich design providing photo realistic renderings, detail drawings for the Alan W Layton wall and all of the component pieces, detail drawings for each individual donor plaque, detail drawings for the donor recognition wall and leading meetings to review overall designs, messages on each donor recognition item, materials and gather feedback to reach finalized design solutions.
